ASL supports Healing Venezuela charity
ASL are delighted to have been able to support the Healing Venezuela charity in their first virtual Rum Experience at the height of lockdown last month and help raise over £5,000 for those most in need during the ongoing economic and humanitarian crisis in Venezuela.
The online event was a fabulous evening learning about and sampling three of Venezuela’s best rums, as well as an English vermouth, followed by a mixology class making three rum-based cocktails. Needless to say, by the end of the night, we were experts – or at least thought we were!
The money raised is going directly to support Healing Venezuela’s food programme, which is fighting child malnutrition in some of the poorest parts of the country and has seen a huge increase in demand during the pandemic.
