ASL are delighted to announce two promotions – Elinor Lamerton as Technical Director and Tom Morley to Associate Director.
Elinor is a lawyer who joined ASL from RPC’s professional indemnity team, following a stint in-house as Litigation Counsel. She now deals with some of the most complex professional and management liability claims which come ASL’s way, as well as taking the lead in handling a particularly prestigious Financial Institutions account and handling losses in Latin America where she provides our Spanish speaking team with invaluable technical input on all things legal. Elinor will continue to help ASL’s insurer and reinsurer clients in this part of the practice whilst providing technical support and input across the business on third party claims.
Tom is a qualified chartered accountant, who joined the wonderful world of financial lines insurance from Simmons Gainsford. At ASL, he has focused on resolving Financial Institutions claims worldwide – from the Caribbean to the Far East and everywhere in between – and has carved out a particular niche as Vietnam’s most popular loss adjuster! Tom also deals with crime claims and has more recently established himself as a valuable member of ASL’s Political Risk and Credit team. Tom will continue to work and help develop ASL’s business across those classes.
